The Hailsham Conservative Group meet on a monthly basis. The purpose of the group is to raise funds for campaigning and promotion of the Conservative Party in the local area, however, also we represent the majority group of Councillors of Hailsham Town Council and represent all of the Wealden District Council seats for Hailsham.

PLANS TO BOOST SPECIAL NEEDS IN HAILSHAM

Plans to increase support for children with special educational needs at schools in Peacehaven and Hailsham are out for public consultation. Following an extensive review of facilities across East Sussex, the county council has identified areas where provision needs to be expanded.

Old Hop Gardens, Wealden’s latest affordable housing scheme for Hailsham, is beginning to take shape. When completed later this year, it will provide 17 high quality affordable homes helping to meet the specific requirement for smaller rental properties in the area.

HAILSHAM PAVILION - FUTURE SECURE

Hailsham Pavilion Cinema – described as possibly one of the most elaborate small provincial cinemas ever built – has agreed a new 20 year lease with Wealden District Council, enabling it to continue to provide a wide range of entertainments for Hailsham and the surrounding area.
