It’s time to sign up or renew your garden waste service in Wealden

If you are a current subscriber, please renew by 15 July to avoid any disruption to your service.

Make your gardening duties that much easier by signing up to our garden waste collections. For the equivalent of just £1.10 per week (£55 annual fee per bin) we will take your garden waste away, says Conservative-run Wealden District Council.

Grass cuttings, leaves, hedge trimmings, weeds, shrub and flower cuttings can all go in.

“With over 36,000 households already signed up, the garden waste service is proving a popular option with residents in Wealden.” says Conservative councillor Roy Galley, Portfolio Holder for Waste Management.

“Options to choose from two sizes of bins and have up to four bins per household mean there is something to suit all types of garden and gardener. Now is the time to sign up or renew by visiting www.wealden.gov.uk/gardenwaste.”

Garden waste is collected every fortnight all-year-round, except for a two-week break because of the Christmas and New Year period.

If you are a current subscriber, please renew by 15 July to avoid any disruption to your service.

If you choose not to renew your subscription, you do not need to contact us. The final collection will be your last scheduled garden waste collection in July.
