EAST SUSSEX FIRE UPDATE by Cllr Roy Galley

THE overall number of fires in the county is down by about 50% in the last 20 years but the Fire and Rescue Service in East Sussex still deals with 9,500 incidents per year, of which 1,132 are so-called primary fires, that is fires which cause injury or affect property.
