Hailsham Town Councillor for North-West Ward
Deputy Chairman, Political of Hailsham Conservatives

During my time in our area, I have had the privilege of Chairing The Welbury Meadows and The Grange estates Residents Association. I have worked tirelessly with community leaders and official organisations to resolve issues that I know affect not just this specific area, but the whole of our North-West Ward, and I will continue to do so.

My fellow Conservatives and I are concerned that the current Lib Dem-led Town Council are spending nearly £1.15 million of your money each year; that is £151 per Band D household. I will work to ensure decisions are challenged on your behalf, and to make sure that your money is being spent wisely and effectively. We are determined to eliminate the waste of taxpayers' money!

I promise to use all the experience and skills I have gained from; over 20 years business, leadership and finance experience and my time as the residents association Chair in our ward to ensure your concerns are addressed quickly and effectively. From my time in the North West Ward I have listened very carefully to residents concerns and responded quickly. I am here to work for and on behalf of you, so please vote for me on the 10th February.

After many consultations within our community, my key priorities in support of our ward are as follows;

  • Ensuring best value for your £1.15 million in council tax, paid to the town council; challenging decisions that waste taxes and ensuring a properly-run and governed Town Council
  • Resolving speed-reduction, road safety measures and parking Issues
  • Greater Police and PCSO presence and visibility
  • Tackling local anti-social behaviour
  • Supporting suitable housing that prioritises our local needs and requirements
  • Promoting our local businesses and a more vibrant town centre
  • Greater access for ALL to more modern sports and recreation facilities
  • Maintaining our town’s community and open spaces cost-effectively
  • Actively supporting the Hailsham Neighborhood Plan
  • Vastly improved walking and cycling infrastructure
